What do you do for myFamilyChannel?

I am the Office Manager, so I do a little bit of everything! Mostly administrative work.

What is your career background?

I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Interior Design. Prior to working for myFamilyChannel, I was an administrative assistant at a church. I have grown to love administrative work and still enjoy Interior Design as a hobby.

What’s the most interesting job you’ve had? The most surprising?

In college, I worked at a pie shop. I became a pie dough master and was often referred to as “Dough-Nat.

What appealed to you about joining the SeniorGroup/MFC team? What do you hope to accomplish?

My initial interest was the product. I thought it was a super-cool, much-needed resource for older adults. Second to that was our company culture. I was so used to working in an environment where I didn’t have much say and just did what I was told. With myFamilyChannel, I learned very early on that each employee was valued and respected. And we have fun!

I hope to be a part of our company’s growth. I believe so much in our product and mission, and I want everyone to be able to use it!

What do you do for fun?

Most of my free time is spent playing with my nine-month-old daughter. When we are not at home playing, we are going out to eat with friends, shopping or going to the park. When I have a few minutes alone, I am almost always in my sewing room.
